This tour offers the perfect balance between driving and walking, which will allow you to get an excellent overview of the most emblematic areas and districts of the city in just half a day, thus gaining a deeper understanding of key places within Buenos Aires: Plaza de Mayo, 9 de Julio street, Casa Rosada, La Boca neighbourhood and many other attractions.  The tour ends with the return to the hotel.

Nestled ideally just 120 km from Buenos Aires and near San Antonio de Areco in the heart of the Pampas, lies one of Argentina’s oldest estancias, recently transformed with meticulous care into a boutique hotel that seamlessly blends lavish comfort with colonial charm. When the urban clamour becomes overwhelming and tranquillity beckons, La Bamba de Areco beckons with a countryside retreat, offering respite from the bustling city life, offering not just a full-day stay but an immersion into tradition. A visit to our estancia is incomplete without a journey through San Antonio de Areco, a bastion of Argentine heritage renowned for its gauchos and artisans, who proudly showcase their craftsmanship in silverware, leatherwork, and more.

Day 4: Buenos Aires – Puerto Iguazú          (B / – / -)

At the set time we will transfer you to the airport in Buenos Aires to board your flight to Puerto Iguazú. 

Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel in Foz. 

Overnight in Foz do Iguaçù. 

Day 5: Puerto Iguazú                     (B / – / -)

Brazilian Waterfalls Excursion

We arrive at the Visitor’s Center at the entrance to the Brazilian National Park, where we board the ecological bus and travel 20 km through the Paraná jungle until we reach the beginning of the boardwalk circuit. There, we enjoy a panoramic view of the falls located on the Argentinian side and San Martín Island. We progress along the 1,200 meters of boardwalk, while the sound of the water becomes increasingly intense. Finally, we conclude our walk at the Floriano Falls in Brazil. In the afternoon, we come back to the hotel.

Day 6: Puerto Iguazú                     (B / – / -)

Full-day excursion to Argentinian Iguazú Falls

We set off in the morning towards Iguazu National Park, established in 1934 to protect the scenic beauty of the waterfalls, surrounded by the lush subtropical jungle with its characteristic animal and plant species.

We arrive at the Visitor Center and reach the Central Station to board the Ecological Train, heading to the Garganta Station. From there, we begin our journey on the walkway circuit, among islets and lush vegetation, until we reach the Garganta del Diablo Balcony, where we enjoy the impressive Garganta del Diablo, the largest waterfall in the falls with a height of 72 meters and an average flow of 1,700 m3/s. We return to the Garganta Station to head to the Cataratas Station, where we start the Upper and Lower Circuits, descending to the Two Sisters, Mbiguá, Chico, Ramírez, Bosetti, and the imposing San Martín waterfall. We continue to the Peñón de Bella Vista, visiting the Alvar Núñez and Lanusse Falls.

Day 7: Puerto Iguazú – Río de Janeiro        (B / – / -)

At the agreed time you will be transferred to Puerto Iguazu airport.

Upon arrival at Rio de Janeiro airport, you will be met by our representative and escorted to your hotel.

Day 8: Río de Janeiro                    (B / L / -)

Full-day tour to Corcovado and Sugar Loaf Mountains with Lunch

The tour departs from the hotel in the South Zone and pass through the charming beaches of Rio, Guanabara Palace, Rio Sambodrome and the Metropolitan Cathedral. After the brief visit, the guests will be taken to Urca and Sugar Loaf. The guests take a cable car to the top of Urca Hill, which rises 215 meters above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay and its surrounding islands. At Urca Hill, they take a second cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf, which rises 395 meters above sea level and offers a 360-degree view of the entire city. After visiting the Sugar Loaf, the guests will back down and behold Rio’s scenery on the way to have a traditional Barbecue lunch which offers a wide variety of options. After lunch, they will take a van ride to Santa Teresa to visit the amazing Selarón Steps, the beautiful steps done in ceramic by artist Jorge Selarón. From Selarón Steps, they will leave by van through the Tijuca National Park to make their way up to Christ The Redeemer. When arriving at the Statue, the guests will feel blessed and protected by this beautiful monument of Christ with open arms.

OPTIONAL TOUR: Helicopter Flight (15 minutes)

“Wonderful City” is what Rio de Janeiro is affectionately called, as it is a blessed city with natural beauties that compose indescribable landscapes. Therefore, joining a helicopter flight is an incredible opportunity to see the most famous landmarks of the city from above. The helicopter departs from Lagoa’s or Sugar Loaf’s helipad, with overviews of Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, Christ The Redeemer, followed by the beautiful Sugar Loaf and Praia Vermelha, Dois Irmãos Hill, Rocinha and Niemeyer Avenue. The flight ends at the point of departure.
